SS 310 is an austenitic stainless steel alloy consisting of 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel, offering excellent oxidation resistance and high-temperature strength. It has a maximum of 0.25% carbon, supplemented with limited amounts of manganese, silicon, and phosphorus. The common mechanical properties are tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 40%. SS 310 has structural integrity up to 1100°C and is therefore suitable for heat treatment equipment and high-temperature industrial applications. It also displays good toughness and weldability at both hot and cold working conditions.

Hot-rolled sheets of Stainless Steel 310 are corrosion-resistant and resistant to corrosion and have high temperature stability. Available in sizes of 1.5 mm up to 25 mm thick, dimensions vary with customer requirements and offer robust performance in high-temperature applications.
Available in gauges from 0.4 mm to 3 mm thickness, these have excellent corrosion resistance and improved surface finish. Suitable for applications which require tight tolerance and smoothness of the surfaces, these have precision and strength.
