Vinit Stainless, established in Chennai, India, is a reliable maker and supplier of stainless steel coils, including high-quality 17-7PH coils. We serve multiple industrial segments, providing the best possible product quality and performance. Our coils of 17-7PH stainless steel are characterized by superior mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and formability. With a client-oriented approach and strong supply chain, Vinit Stainless provides dependable stainless steel solutions for unique industrial applications. Our coils find extensive application in harsh environments with superior fatigue resistance and stable mechanical properties at high temperatures.
17-7PH stainless steel has about 17% Chromium, 7% Nickel, and trace alloys such as Aluminum (0.75%) for precipitation hardening. It provides high strength and hardness following heat treatment, with tensile strength of about 1000 MPa and yield strength of over 800 MPa. The alloy retains good resistance to corrosion and superior fatigue characteristics. It has moderate ductility and good weldability, and it has superior spring characteristics as a result of its martensitic transformation and aging. 17-7PH coils are perfect for parts that have to hold strength and shape when under stress.
