With a maximum carbon content of 0.25%, stainless steel 310 fasteners are made up of nickel (19–22%) and chromium (24%–26%). Up to 1100°C, this combination offers exceptional oxidation resistance and high-temperature strength. The material has a yield strength of about 205 MPa, a tensile strength of about 515 MPa, and an elongation of about 40%.
