SS 304L flat bars have 18–20% chromium and 8–12% nickel content with less than 0.03% carbon, which improves intergranular corrosion resistance. SS 304L has a tensile strength of around 485 MPa and a yield strength of around 170 MPa. SS 304L has good mechanical strength, ductility, and resistance to oxidation. SS 304L is suitable for welding conditions and exposure to moderate corrosive substances due to its low carbon content.
