Vinit Stainless is a leading producer and supplier of Stainless Steel EFW (Electric Fusion Welded) Pipes in Chennai, India. Our EFW pipes are designed with high-grade stainless steel and state-of-the-art welding processes to provide greater strength, corrosion resistance, and long life. Our EFW pipes are highly sought after in those applications where the use of seamless pipes is not mandatory but strength and corrosion resistance are mandatory. Vinit Stainless provides a comprehensive EFW pipe range in a number of grades, sizes, and specifications that make us a reliable supplier to petrochemical, power generation, oil & gas, and water treatment industries.
Stainless Steel EFW Pipes are typically produced in grades such as SS 304, SS 316, and SS 310. These pipes usually consist of chromium (18–20%), nickel (8–14%), and molybdenum (23%) to provide increased corrosion resistance. They have tensile strengths of 500 to 620 MPa and yield strengths of 200 to 300 MPa based on the grade. The process of EFW welding provides a leak-proof, strong joint with excellent mechanical strength. These pipes possess an outstanding resistance to scaling, high temperatures, and oxidation, which makes them ideal in high-temperature and high-pressure conditions.

Yes, Stainless Steel EFW pipes can be used for underground applications due to their corrosion resistance, strength, and durability, making them ideal for transporting fluids and gases in harsh environments.
To select the right Stainless Steel EFW pipes, consider factors like the material grade, pipe size, pressure requirements, environmental conditions, and compatibility with the substances being transported. Consult with an expert if needed.
Stainless Steel EFW pipes are sized based on their nominal diameter (ND) and wall thickness, which determine their strength, pressure capacity, and suitability for various applications. Standard sizing follows industry specifications.
Common grades of stainless steel used in EFW pipe manufacturing include 304, 316, 316L, and 321. These grades offer excellent corrosion resistance, strength, and durability for various industrial applications.
Stainless Steel EFW Pipes are used extensively for high-pressure applications like chemical processing, thermal power plants, oil refineries, and water treatment plants. Owing to their high corrosion resistance and tensile strength, they are best suited for conveying liquids and gases under pressure. They are also applied in structural and architectural applications where the finish and strength need to be maintained. Vinit Stainless offers EFW pipes in standardized lengths and wall thicknesses to accommodate a broad spectrum of industrial and engineering applications.
