Located in Chennai, India, Vinit Stainless is a well-known producer and supplier of stainless steel 347 nuts, providing high-performance fastening solutions for uses requiring exceptional corrosion and heat resistance. Because stabilised austenitic stainless steel is used to make these nuts, they have exceptional resistance to intergranular corrosion, even after welding and exposure to high temperatures. Vinit Stainless makes sure every SS 347 nut satisfies international quality and dimensional standards by using premium-grade materials and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques. Strength, durability, and dependability are essential in the petrochemical, aerospace, power generation, and chemical industries, all of which make extensive use of our products.
In order to prevent carbide precipitation during welding and high-temperature service, stainless steel 347 nuts are stabilised with niobium (columbium) and contain 17–19% chromium and 9–13% nickel. With a yield strength of roughly 205 MPa and a tensile strength of 515–750 MPa, this austenitic grade demonstrates exceptional mechanical strength. Even at high temperatures up to 870°C, SS 347 nuts retain good toughness and creep resistance. They are perfect for both structural and pressure-bearing applications because they have good machinability and weldability, as well as outstanding resistance to oxidation and intergranular corrosion.

A corrosion-resistant product, Stainless Steel 347 coupling nuts come in sizes from M6 to M36. They are designed to connect two male threads securely, providing high strength and stability in high-temperature and harsh industrial environments.
A corrosion-resistant product, Stainless Steel 347 nylon insert nuts, or lock nuts, are available in sizes from M3 to M36. The nylon insert helps prevent loosening under vibration, offering reliable performance in high-temperature applications.
A corrosion-resistant product, Stainless Steel 347 flange hex nuts feature an integrated flange and are available in sizes from M5 to M20. They provide enhanced load distribution and stability in high-temperature and corrosive environments.
A corrosion-resistant product, Stainless Steel 347 heavy hex nuts are available in sizes from M10 to M48. Their increased thickness and strength make them suitable for heavy-duty and high-temperature applications requiring robust and secure fastening.
A corrosion-resistant product, Stainless Steel 347 square nuts offer a larger contact surface and come in sizes from M6 to M30. They are ideal for high-temperature and heavy clamping applications, providing stability and durability.
347 Stainless Steel Industries requiring corrosion resistance and stability at high temperatures frequently use nuts. These include power generation, oil and gas, aerospace, food processing, and chemical processing. Common uses include welding piping systems, boilers, exhaust systems, furnace parts, and heat exchanger components. Because they can withstand intergranular corrosion without further processing, SS 347 nuts are particularly useful in settings where post-weld heat treatment is not practical. They are appropriate for protecting structural elements subjected to heat cycles, pressure changes, and harsh chemical environments due to their long-term performance in both oxidising and mildly reducing conditions.
