Stainless Steel Square Pipes are generally made of austenitic grades such as 304 and 316, or ferritic and duplex grades based on the intended use. For example, 304 stainless steel contains about 18% Chromium and 8% Nickel and has good corrosion resistance and formability. 316 contains around 2-3% Molybdenum, which greatly increases its resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion, particularly in environments with chlorides. The pipes are mechanically strong in tensile strength (e.g., 515-620 MPa for 304), have excellent ductility, and are good weldables. They retain their structural integrity at a broad range of temperatures.
