Vinit Stainless welded stainless steel tubing is basically offered in grades such as 304, 316, and 409. These consist of iron, chromium (18–20%), nickel (8–12%), and occasionally molybdenum (2–3% in 316) for improved corrosion resistance. The mechanical properties encompass tensile strength of between 500 and 750 MPa and yield strength between 200 and 500 MPa. Welded tubes possess superior formability, acceptable weld strength, and resistance to scaling at elevated temperatures.
