SS 321 is an austenitic stainless steel, stabilized by Titanium, with approximately 17-19% Chromium, 9-12% Nickel, and 0.70% Titanium. It provides outstanding high-temperature strength and intergranular corrosion resistance upon heat exposure to carbide precipitation temperatures (427–816°C). The alloy provides tensile strength of approximately 620 MPa and yield strength of around 275 MPa, with good weldability and ductility. SS 321 bolts maintain mechanical properties in heat and provide stability in oxidizing conditions, suitable for high-temperature service applications.
