Dairy spray balls are critical parts installed in Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems for sanitary cleaning of tanks and vessels in food, dairy, and beverage processing. Produced by Vinit Stainless in Chennai, India, these spray balls are designed for effective and repeatable cleaning performance. Static and rotary versions are available, both produced with hygienic, corrosion-resistant stainless steel that meets 3A, FDA, and other food-grade standards. Suitable for achieving consistent spray coverage, dairy spray balls decrease cleaning time, enhance hygiene, and reduce the need for manual intervention—perfect for high-purity environment cleanliness.
Dairy spray balls are usually manufactured using AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, which ensures high corrosion resistance, particularly in acidic as well as alkaline cleaning chemicals. These ensure tensile strength of 515–620 MPa and can withstand long term performance in multiple cleaning cycles and high-pressure sprays. The surface finish is usually Ra ≤ 0.8 µm, which minimizes the risk of bacterial growth. Spray balls are specially engineered for the highest flow rates, pressure class, and spray patterns. Their heavy duty mechanical construction enables them to operate effectively under CIP pressures between 1.5 to 4 bar and can be trusted in static and dynamic applications as well.
