Vinit Stainless manufactures high-strength SS 347H fasteners for high-temperature, high-pressure service. SS 347H contains 17–19% chromium, 9–13% nickel, 0.04–0.10% carbon, and niobium (columbium) stabilization. Its tensile strength is 515–620 MPa, yield strength ~205 MPa, and elongation 35%. The higher carbon enhances creep resistance at high temperatures. The alloy has good weldability, oxidation resistance, and corrosion protection in constant high-temperature exposures.
