The austenitic stainless steel alloy used to make Stainless Steel 321H Bolts is made up of roughly 17–19% Chromium, 9–12% Nickel, and a trace amount of Titanium (stabilizer) to stop carbide precipitation during welding. At temperatures as high as 815°C (1500°F), 321H provides improved creep strength and thermal stability due to its higher carbon content than standard 321. These bolts’ mechanical performance and dependability in high-stress and thermal cycling conditions are guaranteed by their exceptional intergranular corrosion resistance, tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa, and yield strength of 205 MPa.
