SS 304H pipe fittings contain 18–20% chromium, 8–11% nickel, and increased carbon content (0.04–0.10%) than the normal 304, which increases the strength at high temperatures. They possess very good oxidation and corrosion resistance. The mechanical characteristics are tensile strength of at least 585 MPa, yield strength of 240 MPa, and elongation of approximately 40%. These fittings offer structural strength in raised temperatures, which makes them ideal for pressure vessels and heat-exposed conditions. SS 304H is also highly weldable and formable, which ensures high quality and performance in industrial systems of all kinds.
