Vinit Stainless is a leading manufacturer and supplier of SS 347 forged fittings in Chennai, India. Engineered with performance in high-temperature and corrosive conditions, SS 347 forged fittings are stabilized using niobium to resist intergranular corrosion following welding. The fittings are engineered to high industrial standards and are used extensively in heat-intensive and chemically aggressive conditions. Vinit Stainless maintains dimensional precision, durability, and corrosion resistance in each forged fitting manufactured. Our SS 347 forged fittings cater to industries like oil refining, chemical processing, marine systems, and thermal power plant, where dependability and durability are paramount.
SS 347 forged fittings consist of 17–19% Chromium, 9–13% Nickel, and niobium stabilization. Such a composition avoids precipitation of carbides at grain boundaries, especially welding. Mechanical properties feature a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and a yield strength of 205 MPa. They are ductile, have good oxidation resistance, and creep strength, and are therefore appropriate for high-temperature use. Their stabilized form provides long-term resistance to intergranular corrosion in welded conditions and under stressed conditions, allowing for improved general operational reliability.

Known for its durability and resistance to corrosive environments, this cross-fitting enables four-way connections between pipes. Available in sizes from 1/2″ to 2″, it ensures robust and reliable performance.
SS 347 forged fittings are extensively utilized in high-temperature exposed, pressure, and corrosive media systems. They are best suited for application in chemical processing plants, refineries, steam systems, and exhaust manifolds. The fittings are superior in performance in the welded environment and possess a sensitization-resistant property, thus being best for high-purity and high-temperature piping networks. SS 347 forged fittings are also employed in the food and pharmaceutical sectors because of their cleanliness and resistance to corrosion. They are especially precious for their structural stability in cyclic heating as well as oxidizing conditions.
