SS 304 Forged Fittings contain mainly chromium (18-20%) and nickel (8-10.5%), which provide high corrosion resistance and oxidation stability. Small percentages of manganese, silicon, carbon, and iron are present in the alloy. SS 304 offers mechanically 515 MPa of tensile strength, 205 MPa of yield strength, and around 40% elongation. It is toughness resistant and weldable, and it can support high pressures. These fittings work well across an entire array of temperatures and are resistant to the majority of acids, alkalis, and chloride-induced corrosion, leading to long service life and durability.
