A high-carbon variant of 304 stainless steel, stainless steel 304H is designed to be stronger at elevated temperatures. Its 0.04–0.10% carbon, 8–10.5% nickel, and 18–20% chromium increase its strength and resistance to creep in high-temperature settings.
