Vinit Stainless, a prominent manufacturer and supplier located in Chennai, India, is dedicated to producing top-notch welding consumables, such as the AWS Class ER347 SAW (Submerged Arc Welding) Wire and Flux. Renowned for its exceptional weldability and resistance to corrosion, ER347 is stabilized with niobium, making it perfect for high-temperature applications. Vinit Stainless provides SAW wire and compatible flux combinations that ensure clean welds with outstanding mechanical strength and resistance to intergranular corrosion. With a commitment to quality, precision, and adherence to international standards, Vinit caters to essential industries like petrochemical, power generation, fabrication, and pressure vessel manufacturing.
AWS Class ER347 SAW Wire and Flux consists of chromium (19–21%), nickel (9–11%), and carbon (≤0.08%), with niobium (8–10 times the carbon content) added for stabilization against carbide precipitation. This combination offers remarkable resistance to intergranular corrosion and high-temperature oxidation. Its mechanical properties include a tensile strength of 550–650 MPa, a yield strength of around 350 MPa, and an elongation of ≥30%. The flux paired with ER347 guarantees low spatter, high arc stability, and easy slag removal, making it perfect for precision welding in challenging environments.
