Dairy elbows have tensile strengths of 485–515 MPa and yield strengths of 170–205 MPa. The fittings retain smooth internal surfaces to ensure hygienic flow and can resist pressure, thermal cycling, and chemical cleaning processes typical in sanitary environments.
