18–20% chromium and 8–12% nickel make up stainless steel 304/304L angle bars. The 304L version has less carbon (≤ 0.03%) to improve weldability and stop intergranular corrosion. With high tensile strength (about 515 MPa), yield strength (205 MPa), and elongation of up to 40%, these angle bars provide exceptional resistance to corrosion and oxidation. They have excellent surface finish and maintain mechanical integrity over a broad temperature range. They are a popular material for load-bearing applications both indoors and outdoors due to their durability, ease of fabrication, and structural strength.
