Stainless steel 309H tubing is primarily alloyed with 22% chromium and 12-15% nickel, with trace amounts of carbon (0.04-0.10%), manganese, silicon, and other elements These elements provide excellent oxidation resistance and warmth higher strength. Mechanical properties of 309H include 515-690 MPa tensile strength, 205 MPa yield strength, 40% elongation at 50 mm It also has high resistance to scaling and corrosion, which makes it ideal for applications in harsh environments, e.g heat exchangers, furnace and chemical industry.
