Vinit Stainless is a reliable manufacturer and distributor of high-quality stainless steel products in Chennai, India. Known for precision engineering and high durability, the company provides an extensive portfolio of industrial solutions designed to withstand the challenging requirements of diverse industries. One of its star products is the SS 316H Forged Fitting used in high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. With its unwavering focus on quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction, Vinit Stainless has established itself as a well-reputed company in the domestic and global markets and is a preferred partner for stainless steel forged fittings and other superior piping components.
SS 316H Forged Fittings consist chiefly of chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), and molybdenum (2–3%), with a higher carbon level (0.04–0.10%) for increased high-temperature strength. The alloy contains manganese, silicon, and traces of other elements. The fittings have fine mechanical properties like tensile strength of 515 MPa, yield strength of 205 MPa, and elongation of 35% minimum. Their high corrosion resistance, particularly against chlorides and corrosive environments, with high creep and stress rupture resistance, render them suitable for high-temperature applications under severe conditions.
