Vinit Stainless is a well-known manufacturer and supplier of SS 321 forged fittings in Chennai, India. SS 321 is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel recognized for its superior intergranular corrosion resistance and stable performance in high-temperature applications. These forged fittings are designed for strength, durability, and weldability, suitable for demanding applications in various industries. Vinit Stainless offers SS 321 forged fittings in different configurations, all of which are produced as per international standards. These fittings are ideal for heat exchangers, exhaust systems, and chemical plants where heat and corrosive exposure is regular.
SS 321 forged fittings include 17–19% Chromium, 9–12% Nickel, and stabilizing with at least 5xC% Titanium. This addition of titanium avails resistance against the formation of chromium carbides, maintaining corrosion resistance following welding. SS 321 possesses tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa along with yield strength of 205 MPa. It also provides excellent ductility, thermal fatigue resistance, and creep strength. All these characteristics make SS 321 forged fittings suitable for extreme stress and heat conditions where mechanical performance and long-time corrosion resistance are of utmost importance.
