A high-carbon variant of grade 321 stainless steel, stainless steel 321H has a maximum carbon content of 0.08%, 9–12% nickel, and 17–19% chromium. Titanium stabilizes it, improving its ability to withstand intergranular corrosion. Up to 870°C, this alloy maintains its oxidation resistance and mechanical strength. It has an elongation of 40%, a yield strength of about 205 MPa, and a tensile strength of about 515 MPa. It is perfect for heavy-duty and high-heat industrial applications due to its exceptional weldability, high-temperature stability, and superior resistance to acids like phosphoric and sulfuric.
