Vinit Stainless provides SS 330 fasteners designed to work under extreme high temperature conditions. With a manufacturing facility in Chennai, the company produces bolts, nuts, washers, and studs made of SS 330, an austenitic stainless steel with superior resistance to oxidation and carburization. Suited for application in industrial heating plants and thermal processing facilities, Vinit ensures each fastener is produced to operate under service temperatures over 1100°C. Using precision machining and high quality checks, Vinit Stainless offers high-strength SS 330 fasteners in accordance with the requirements of the metallurgy, chemical, and furnace sectors.
SS 330 has 18–20% chromium, 34–37% nickel, ≤1.5% manganese/silicon, and ≤0.08% carbon. It has small traces of iron and trace elements as well. The tensile strength of this grade is 550–750 MPa, yield strength ~300 MPa, and elongation ~40%. It is outstanding with respect to thermal stability and oxidation resistance and can be used for long-term use at more than 1000°C. The alloy is structurally stable under thermal cycling.
