Based in Chennai, India, Vinit Stainless is a top producer and supplier of stainless steel 416 bolts. Our SS 416 bolts are made from precisely engineered martensitic stainless steel and combine good mechanical strength with exceptional machinability. These bolts are perfect for general industrial use because they are made to withstand moderate corrosion and are easy to fabricate. To accommodate a range of applications in pumps, valves, motors, and machinery, we produce SS 416 bolts in a variety of sizes and specifications. To guarantee constant dependability, longevity, and performance for each fastener we supply, Vinit Stainless upholds strict quality standards.
The martensitic stainless steel alloy used to make SS 416 bolts has between 11.5 and 13.5% chromium, up to 0.15% carbon, and 0.15 and 0.35% sulfur to improve machinability. These bolts have an elongation value of 15–25%, a yield strength of 275–450 MPa, and a tensile strength range of 550–700 MPa. SS 416 is magnetic under all circumstances and can be heat-treated to increase its strength and resistance to wear. Because of these characteristics, SS 416 is appropriate for bolts that need to have strong mechanical performance in dry or mildly corrosive conditions, tight machining tolerances, and moderate corrosion resistance.

Stainless Steel 416 bolts are high-strength, martensitic fasteners known for excellent machinability and wear resistance. They are suitable for high-stress, friction-prone applications, offering moderate corrosion resistance and magnetic properties.
Custom Stainless Steel 416 hex bolt is a tailored fastener with a hexagonal head, providing high strength and excellent machinability. Ideal for specialized applications requiring durability and wear resistance.
Stainless Steel 416 leg bolt is a high-strength, machined fastener with a threaded shaft and flat, leg-like design. It offers excellent durability and wear resistance for high-stress applications.
Stainless Steel 416 expansion anchor bolt secures fixtures in concrete or masonry. It provides high strength and durability, with good machinability, making it ideal for high-stress and wear-resistant applications.
Stainless Steel 416 Hex Flange Head Bolt features a hexagonal head with an integrated flange, providing secure fastening and load distribution. It offers high strength and wear resistance in demanding applications.
Stainless Steel 416 full threaded bolts have a fully threaded shaft, ensuring consistent grip and engagement. They offer high strength, excellent machinability, and wear resistance, ideal for high-stress applications.
In general-purpose engineering applications where moderate strength and high machinability are essential, SS 416 bolts are frequently utilized. Typical uses include gear parts, motors, pumps, valves, and machine parts that run in fresh water, dry air, or mildly alkaline conditions. These bolts are preferred in sectors where close machining is crucial, such as the automotive, electrical, and food processing machinery industries. They can be hardened, which makes them appropriate for applications requiring wear-resistant fastening. Although SS 416 is not advised for use in highly corrosive or marine environments, it is a popular option for economical industrial fastening requirements due to its dependability, affordability, and ease of fabrication.
