Stainless Steel Globe Valves are usually made from high-grade stainless steel castings or forgings, such as grades like SS 304, 316, 316L, and special alloys. Their chromium, nickel, and frequently molybdenum-rich composition offers excellent corrosion resistance, especially in aggressive media, and good strength at high temperatures. Mechanically, these valves are highly tensile (e.g., 515-620 MPa for 304/304L) and hard, guaranteeing the valve body, disc, and seat durability and integrity even under frequent throttling.
